Hi Faye, this will be my "buggy" quilt!! In each block I have silk ribbon bees and lady bugs. I found the lady bug material and have used it for the strips in between the blocks. It was suggested at the quilt store that I should use the leaf material to break it up. There will be 12 blocks in all and 4 on a row. First row is completed and will be on display at the bank in June. I plan on doing the fly stitch for the block and border. Perhaps at the top will make dimensional leaves so they flow down over the top and side blocks.
Beautiful stitching Linda, I'm not so keen on the leafy boarder though. I guess it depends what or how your going to use the block... Lovely work.
